GROUTING

 

Grouting is a widespread term and can mean a variety of things.

 

It can mean the injection of grout in the ground, under controlled pressure, in order to fill the spaces that exist between soil particles.  It can also mean the injection of grout in rock, under  controlled pressure, in order to fill the existing cracks, crevices, and joints in the rock formation.

 

It is best practice to conduct an onsite grout mix testing program at the onset of any project in order to develop a selection of grout mix  formulations that will best serve each project and/or application.
