SITE INVESTIGATION
Subsurface geotechnical investigations are performed to obtain information on the properties of soil and rock. These investigation provide pertinent data for each ground modification project; permitting Contractors to select appropriate means and methods for construction.
ACT has, through our past project experiences, performed site investigations during construction. We have employed a variety of our equipment in order to perform site investigations including our overburden drills, core drills, water pressure testing equipment, and borehole sondes (Optical, Accoustic, Video & Temperature). Results have included soil profiles, rock profiles, hydraulic conductivity profiles, grout take projections, borehole images and video logs to name a few.
It is our in-house ability to perform this work which enables us to provide full value to our Clients; setting us apart from our competitors.
